A U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle assigned to the 85th Test and Evaluation Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, conducts aerial refueling with a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 909th Air Refueling Squadron en route to Kadena Air Base, Japan, June 29, 2026. The test aircrafts arrival supported the Department of War's effort to modernize U.S. airpower in the Indo-Pacific and prepared Kadena personnel and the local community for the F-15EX's arrival.
