Lauren Woodworth, daughter of the late retired Maj. Gen. Gary W. Johnston, touches the plaque honoring her late father at Fort Huachuca, Arizona on June 25, 2026. As the former commanding general for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) from June 2018 to July 2021, Johnston strived to modernize the Army Intelligence Security Enterprise, which included creating a unified, modern intelligence campus for the various INSCOM organizations stationed at Fort Huachuca.
