Fort Worth District’s Programs and Project Management Division Civil Works section added five new Project Management Professionals to their rolls since January. The PMP certification, administered by the Project Management Institute, is considered one of the highest standards in the project management profession and validates expertise in leadership, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and project execution. The increase in PMP certified staff members means half of the project managers in the civil works section share the unique qualification. Pictured left to right is Jena Becker, Donovan Blakeley, Jun Robbins, and Andy Park. Park, the 2026 Southwestern Division Project Manager of the Year, was the mentor for the group and led the them in a focused study program utilizing lunch breaks and home study for several months in preparation for the certification.
