Officer Candidate Brian Spurgin, of Shawnee, Okla., places an apple into a lunch sack during a community service project at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Spurgin is a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard's Officer Candidate School class 58. The class spent a day at the Regional Food Bank helping the staff with a number of tasks to include preparing sack lunches for children across the metro. In his civilian career, Spurgin is an architect at Tinker Air Force Base. He has been a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard for two years.
