Officer Candidate Jacob Garrett (right), of Guthrie, Okla., places a drink box into a snack pack for kids during a community service project at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Garrett is a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard's Officer Candidate School class 58. The class spent a day at the Regional Food Bank helping the staff with a number of tasks to include preparing sack lunches for children across the metro. In his civilian career, Garrett is a K-9 officer with the Guthrie Police Department. He has been a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard for eight years and previously served as an artillery fire support specialist.
