U.S. Air Force C-130 aircraft fly over a D-Day commemoration event near the Pointe du Hoc Ranger Monument in Cricqueville-en-Bessin, France, June 5, 2026. Soldiers with the 75th Ranger Regiment were part of more than 600 U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Guardians and Airmen from roughly 17 units historically linked to D-Day made up Joint Task Force 82 and participated in over 90 commemorative events throughout the Normandy Region.
