Mark Simerly, commander of the 4th Sustainment Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) to the members of the Temple Texas Lions Club during a luncheon July, 10. Col. Simerly was asked by Mayor Covington to be a guest speaker at the meeting and explain the Army’s recent announcements concerning Force Restructuring and Stationing decisions that are going to cause an overall 14 percent reduction in forces across the Army by 2017.
