NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (May 27, 2026) - From left, Cmdr. Jacob Beckelhymer, commanding officer, Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106), Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP), Cmdr. Carissa Moore, Stockdale's executive officer, Command Master Chief (CMC) April Jackson, the ship's CMC, and Force Master Chief Larry Lynch, CNSP, discuss Stockdale's recent deployment during a visit to the ship May 27. While aboard Stockdale, CNSP leadership spoke with command leadership about the ship's recent return to homeport following a seven-month deployment to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations, and recognized Sailors for excellence. The mission of Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
