Andrew Mahoney, avionics specialists assigned to the 87th Electronic Warfare Squadron, conduct an avionics system test on an F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing, during Checkered Flag 26-2 and Weapons System Evaluation Program-East at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., April 28, 2026. The combination of Checkered Flag and WSEP saves resources and provides a unique training environment for a variety of aircraft and support personnel from across the U.S. military.
