Brothers Adam and Aaron Eyerly, both serving with V Corps in support of Saber Strike '26, continue a family legacy of military service rooted in their Kansas City, Missouri, upbringing and inspired by their father, retired U.S. Army Master Sgt. Damon Eyerly. Adam, headquarters and headquarters company commander of the 510th Regional Support Group, 7th Mission Support Command, and Aaron, civil affairs team chief with the 418th Civil Affairs Battalion, 308th Civil Affairs Brigade, 353rd Civil Affairs Command, both began as enlisted Soldiers before commissioning through ROTC and branching into civil affairs. Their parallel careers have repeatedly intersected — including a joint rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana — and now bring them together again on NATO's eastern flank during one of the largest multinational exercises in the region.
