Members of Combined Team Bastogne, currently deployed to Forward Operating Base Fenty, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, participated in a shadow running of the 2013 Peachtree Road Race at Jalalabad Airfield, Jalalabad, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan, to celebrate the 4th of July. The event helped to improve unit cohesion and soldier morale during the hot summer months in Afghanistan.
