Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeffery Bivens and Petty Officer 2nd Class Victor Castaneda both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 17 take section measurements prior to beginning a sub-floor project addition for a Marine Corps SYSCOM building. The extension will house new gear that will be cooled by four air conditioning units. NMCB-17, also known as the "Desert Battalion", is deployed to Iraq and other areas of operations supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
