The Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy arrives at Cotabato, Philippines to begin its Pacific Partnership 2008 mission. Pacific Partnership is a humanitarian mission aimed to build friendship and strengthen relationships between partner nations and host nations. Mercy is also scheduled to visit the Vietnam, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea and the Federated States of Micronesia.
