Capt. Eric Ver Hage, center, commanding officer of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, leads a horseback tour around Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach (NWSSB), Detachment Norco, home of NSWC Corona. The event sought to strengthen the bond between the community and the Navy while showcasing the uniqueness of the Navy in Norco – advanced, 21st century technical capabilities headquartered in Horsetown U.S.A., a term trademarked by the city to describe the equestrian lifestyle of Norco’s semi-rural community. NSWC Corona is the Navy’s center for measurement science, range systems engineering, and independent assessment of quality, readiness and performance of integrated weapons and combat systems aboard Navy ships.
