Eleven-year-old Isaac, a friend of Illinois Army National Guard Capt. Tucker Petersen, waits for the captain to arrive at the University of Illinois Willard Airport in Savoy, Ill. Capt. Petersen coaches Isaac in track and confirmed upon his arrival that he is, in fact, going to make him run. Petersen's unit, the 232nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, was deployed to Europe for 10-months. The battalion, which was based in Poland, was responsible for logistics across a multi-nation region. (U.S. Army photo by Lt. Col. Brad Leighton, Illinois National Guard Public Affairs.)
