    1st SFG(A) conducts joint Tactical Air Controller Party exercise with Marines and Airmen

    A U.S. Marine, and a Green Beret assigned to the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), plan a simulated attack on an objective during a Tactical Air Controller Party (TACP) exercise at Tonaki Island, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 8, 2025. Joint Tactical Air Controllers (JTACS) from multiple branches hone their skills during an eight-day TACP exercise, ensuring mission readiness and lethality.

    1st SFG (A) conducts special operations throughout the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command areas of responsibility, to support command objectives and U.S. national interests.
