Sailors participate in a match of tug-of-war with members of the Royal Malaysian Navy during a sports day event held at Kuantan Naval Base as part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2013. More than 1,200 sailors and Marines are participating in CARAT. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor Leste.
