PENSACOLA, Fla.. -- Along with the Month of the Military Child, National Child Abuse Prevention Month occurs each April. Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola's Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR)-run Child Development Center (CDC) on the air station hosted the installation's commanding officer and other guests April 7 for a proclamation signing for both observances.
