Lieutenant Col. Robert Hallett, the former commanding officer of 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, passes the battalion colors to his replacement, Lt. Col. Stephen Pritchard. The transfer of the colors happened during a change of command for the “Nightmare” Battalion June 19, 2013. Pritchard, a native of Weymouth, Mass., is returning to the unit where he began his illustrious career as a fire direction officer and forward observer.
