JOINT EXPEDITIONARY BASE LITTLE CREEK-FORT STORY, VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Commanding Officer, Capt. Dan Hemminger and Commanding Officer, MARMC auxiliary floating dry-dock Dynamic (AFDL 6), Cmdr. Jeremy Mayfield, looks below the hull of Landing Craft Unit 1664 following at docking evolution. Dynamic, a MARMC field activity, is the Navy's oldest floating dry-dock and is capable of docking Mine Countermeasure (MCM) and Patrol Coastal (PC) ships, Landing Craft Utility (LCU) and similar-sized service crafts. MARMC provides surface ship maintenance, management and oversight of private sector maintenance and fleet technical assistance to ships in the Mid-Atlantic region.
