Kayla Cartwright, a medical resident at David Grant Medical Center, presents research to a judge during the 5th Annual Clinical Investigations Program Young Investigator Competition, March 3, in National Harbor, Maryland. She was named the winner of the poster presentation for research titled, “Precision Melanoma Prevention in Military Personnel: Leveraging Cancer Predisposition Genes for Risk-Stratified Screening and Targeted Early Intervention.” The competition showcased the work from future leaders of military medicine from across the DHA.
