U.S. Army leaders assigned to the 25th Infantry Division walk off stage after receiving an award, during the E3B closing ceremony held at the Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, March 19, 2026. The ceremony concluded a month of daily training and testing on a multitude of Soldier skills. The purpose of the Expert Infantryman, Soldier, and Field Medical Badges, commonly referred to as E3B, is to create experts at all levels, across all organizations, increasing the readiness and lethality of teams, squads, and platoons.
