Sgt. Daniel Bell, a heavy equipment operator with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response and Castleton, Vt. native, was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for managing the movement and organization of the force's cargo upon its arrival aboard Moron Air Base, May 7, 2013. The SP-MAGTF will initially be located in Moron, Spain, within reach of the West African region, allowing the force to be readily available for rapid crisis response and to defend U.S. security interests.
