U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa     

Navy Petty Officer 1st Class John Leasiolagi, a corpsman with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response, was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for planning and preparing the medical readiness of the task force's ground combat element, ensuring the unit exceeded all medical requirements, aboard Moron Air Base, May 7, 2013. The SP-MAGTF will initially be located in Moron, Spain, within reach of the West African region, allowing the force to be readily available for rapid crisis response and to defend U.S. security interests.
