Members of U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa Band and the Norwegian Army Band meet at a welcome event in Harstad, Norway, March 10, 2026. The bands met before rehearsing together ahead of a joint performance, strengthening interoperability and musical collaboration between allied partners. A key component of NATO's enhanced vigilance activity Arctic Sentry, exercise Cold Response 26 is a Norwegian-led winter military exercise designed to enhance collective defense capabilities and ensure U.S. readiness to rapidly deploy and seamlessly operate alongside NATO Allies in challenging arctic conditions.
