USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) Lt. j.g. Vincent Vu (second from right) points out features of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer as he leads a group of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) employees on a tour while the ship was in port recently for a Combat Systems Assessment Team event at NSWC PHD in Port Hueneme, California. Behind the group is DDG 60’s MK 45 5-inch gun, which is designed for defense against surface warships and aircraft as well as for shore bombardment.
