The Florida Army National Guard's 3-265th Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Regiment, based out of Sarasota, Florida, staged four AN/MPQ-64A3 Sentinel Radar Systems at Fort Polk's Joint Readiness Training Center March 9, 2026. Soldiers of the 3-265th ADA are trained to operate, emplace, and maintain the AN/MPQ-64A3 Sentinel Radar System, which is designed to detect, track, and identify cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and other low-level threats. The unit will spend the coming weeks participating in realistic, high-intensity training scenarios to prepare for real-world combat operations.
