CORONADO, Ca. (March 5, 2026) — The Honorable Benjamin Kohlmann, assistant secretary of the Navy for manpower and reserve affairs, left, speaks with Yeoman 2nd Class Emily Rosario, assigned to Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP), after presenting her with a challenge coin during a visit to CNSP March 5. While at CNSP, Kohlmann spoke with leaders about Sailor readiness, retention, and quality of life. The mission of CNSP is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
