Senior leaders from the 349th Medical Squadron accept the Medical Excellence Award during a ceremony hosted by the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, California, March 4, 2026. The 349th MDS earned the award for spearheading Air Force Reserve Command and U.S. Air Forces Southern humanitarian missions, deploying 51 medics across 25 Air Force specialty codes to deliver $3.5 million in healthcare to four partner nations, treating more than 6,500 patients and supporting a population of 1.2 million. Presenting the award are Chief Master Sgt. Travon Dennis, command chief of Fourth Air Force, and Maj. Gen. Paul Fast, commander of Fourth Air Force. Accepting the award are Col.
