U.S. Army Soldiers with the 350th Engineer Company assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border, use a Ground-Based Operational Surveillance System (GBOSS) at Eagle Pass, Texas, Feb. 3, 2026. The GBOSS is equipped with a thermal camera that aids in detection and leads to apprehensions of suspected illegal aliens by U.S. Border Patrol.
