The Fort Benning Directorate of Public Works, in partnership with the University of Georgia and City of Smiths Station, Ala., inspect a bridge made from recycled railroad flatcars at Garnsey Range, Nov. 24, 2025. The bridge provides access to the range’s Infantry Platoon Battle Course, a facility where Infantry Soldiers conduct live-fire training to improve combat readiness.
