U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271, Marine Aircraft Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, and Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 261, MAG-26, 2nd MAW, offload cargo at an expeditionary landing zone near the U.S. Navy's Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center on Andros Island, Bahamas, Feb. 15, 2026. MAG-29 Distributed Aviation Operations Exercise is a multi-week exercise designed to distribute command and control of aviation forces, pushing authorities to the lowest levels while keeping forces moving between airfields and air sites.
