Col. Tim Zerbe, who most recently served as the Pennsylvania Army National Guard’s State Army Aviation Officer (SAAO), is honored during a retirement ceremony conducted Feb. 13 at Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site’s (EAATS) Aviation Maintenance Instruction Building on Fort Indiantown Gap. Zerbe, who retires after more than 29 years of service, enlisted in the PANG as a field medic in 1997 and was commissioned as Medical Service Corps Officer from the Pennsylvania State University Reserve Officer Training Corps in 1999.
