U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Austin Mitchell, a motor vehicle operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, conducts an agricultural wash of a Terra Tucker 1600 Sno-Cat, assigned to Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, during Mountain Training Exercise 1-26 at MCMWTC in Bridgeport, California, Feb. 9, 2026. Washdowns are conducted to identify any vehicle maintenance needed and remove possible contamination of both biological and chemical materials. Exercises like MTX 1-26 prove Marines’ ability to provide flexible and responsive combat service support during high intensity combat operations in contested and mountainous terrain.
