ATLANTIC OCEAN – (Feb. 10, 2026) Three F-35B Lightning II aircrafts, attached to the Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 542, get secured on the flight deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), Feb. 10, 2026. This marks the first time an F-35B Lightning II aircraft has landed on Kearsarge enhancing Navy-Marine Corps joint expeditionary capabilities.
