Senior Airman Tanya Rego, a medic from the 102nd Medical Group, Massachusetts Air National Guard, prepares to enter a tunnel during a confined space search and rescue mission. Rego, along with other members of the Massachusetts National Guard's Chemical, Biological Radiological, Nuclear, Environmental (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package or CERF-P's search and rescue team, were conducting confined space breach and break rescue operations as part of a disaster response training exercise on Camp Hartell, June 10, 2013. Soldiers and airmen from the 79th Troop Command, 101st Engineer Battalion, the 179th and 180th Fire Detachments, 272 Chemical Company, 102nd and 104th Medical conducted command and control, rescue and recovery, decontamination and medical operations during a mass casualty training event here.
