Dan Andreas, a crew chief with the 104th Fighter Wing, during the annual awards banquet at the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks, Conn., Feb. 8, 2026. Andreas achieved a remarkable 99.2% execution rate across 2,290 flying hours and expertly managed the seamless transfer of $480 million in aerospace assets to facilitate the wing's F-35 transition.
