Technical Sgt. Efren Candanedo is the 459th ARW Warrior of the Month for February 2026. He is the Squadron Aviation Resource Management NCOIC for the 459th Operations Support Squadron. In regard to his service, he says "Joining the military has been my only plan all throughout high school. It has been a blessing to be able to learn and grow from two branches of the military (Marine Corps to Air Force). Applying those dynamic skill sets throughout my aviation career has prepared me for professional growth as a leader and mentor for others in their journey. The 459 ARW has provided outstanding leaders that pave the way for airmen to follow in whatever path that might be, and that is truly an honor."
