GREAT LAKES, Ill. (February 4, 2026) The Naval Station Great Lakes United Service Organization (USO) hosted a cake cutting ceremony in celebration of 85 years of service and dedication to service members and their families. The USO was founded by six different agencies on February 4, 1945 to help raise the welfare and spirits of troops headed into battle.
