Combat rescue officers, pararescuemen, and search, evasion, resistance, and escape specialists of the 212th RQS - known collectively as Guardian Angels - are experts in personnel recovery operations and trained to infiltrate behind enemy lines to extract isolated U.S. and allied personnel.
