A delegation of ten Texas National Guardsmen traveled to Cassino, Italy, May 15-22 to represent the 36th Infantry Division in several ceremonies honoring those who fought and died during the liberation of Italy from the Germans in World War II. The T-Patch group consisted of Sgt. 1st Class Crystal Barton, Staff Sgt. Dominik Gonzales, Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Fox, Sgt. Matthew Turnell, Col. Charles Aris, Sgt. 1st Class Kenneth Saffell, Spc. Adam Best, Command Sgt. Maj. Mark Horn, and Spc. Deanne Ybarra.
