Rachel Bitar, assigned to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), visits retired service members at a Veteran Affairs hospital, Jan. 24, 2026. The U.S. Navy sent eight Sailors from the USS Kearsarge crew to Mount Kearsarge to honor the ship’s namesake and participate in community relations events.
