Gary Donley, the Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Japan/Navy Region (CNFJ/RJ) Japan assistant chief of staff for intelligence and information operations, speaks at the 2026 CNFJ/RJ Information Warfare Holiday Party at the New Sanno Hotel in Tokyo, Jan. 23, 2026. CNFJ/RJ’s primary responsibility is to provide shore readiness to the fleet; to liaise with the Japanese government; and to strengthen ties with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
