251210-O-NJ594-1105, December 9, 2025, Suffolk, Va. -- The Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC) hosted a strategic offsite meeting, Dec. 9 - 11, in Suffolk, Virginia. Capt. Darryl Arfsten, Commander, NMCFHPC and Director, Defense Centers for Public Health – Portsmouth (DCPH-P), kicks off the meeting by examining historic battles and the role that poor communication and “fog of war” played in the outcomes of those battles.
