Chef Robert Irvine tears open a Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) entree package during his Operation HOT (Honoring Our Troops) performance at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. In his Food Network show, "Dinner: Impossible," Irvine is challenged to make meals from readily available items at locations around the world in a limited time. For Operation HOT, he was given only a few minutes to make a tasty meal utilizing two random MREs. Two volunteers from the audience tasted the concoction and said it was excellent.
