NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (Jan. 23, 2026) - A group of surface force chaplains led Sailors in prayer during a prayer breakfast aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) in observance of spiritual resilience efforts. January is the month of spiritual resilience. The mission of Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
