(Jan.10, 2026) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Lilly Sandoval and Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Gesselle Gallogly, assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Annapolis, support the U.S Naval Academy providing medical standby during a Search and Rescue evaluation, January 10, 2026. The presence of the Corpsmen is to protect readiness and prevent a training event from becoming a medical emergency. Corpsmen can make immediate assessments and respond accordingly for various issues such as dehydration, fainting, and musculoskeletal issues to ensure the safety of candidates as well as the continuation of the mission.
