Jennifer Hillyer with a gift from the Soldiers she served with during Hillyer’s Jan. 9 retirement ceremony at the Northenders Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10302 in Springfield. Hillyer retired after 21 years of military service but continues to serve her community as the Junior Vice Commander of VFW Post 10302.
