BUSAN, South Korea (December 11, 2025) – U.S. Navy Sailors, their families, and civilian employees from Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Korea (CNFK) and Commander, Fleet Activities Chinhae (CFAC) participate in a community relations event at Hongbeopsa Temple in Geumjeong-gu, Busan, South Korea, Dec. 11, 2025. The community relations event, in which participants assisted Hongbeopsa Temple prepare food, was arranged by Capt. Leroy Young, CNFK chaplain. CNFK is the U.S. Navy’s representative in the Republic of Korea, providing leadership and expertise in naval matters to improve institutional and operational effectiveness between the two navies and to strengthen collective security efforts in Korea and the region.
