    Combined Joint Task Force 101

Maj. Gen. Jeffrey J. Schloesser, Combined Joint Task Force-101 commander, Pfc. Giselle Howard, an 18-year-old Jamaica native, and Command Sgt. Maj. Vincent F. Camacho, CJTF-101 command sergeant major, cut the Army 233rd birthday cake at a CJTF-101 dining facility on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, June 14. According to Army tradition, the oldest and youngest Soldier cut the cake together. Schloesser said the older Soldiers provide the Army its wisdom and experience, while the young Soldiers, like Howard, contribute strength, tenacity and sense of duty to the Army - all attributes that keep the Army strong.
